The Acts of the Apostles

The book of Acts is the only history book in the New Testament. It is sequel to the gospel of Luke and it shows how the work of Jesus continues in the activities of early Church, especially in the Apostles Peter and Paul.  Like the historical narratives in the Old Testament, the book of Acts recounts the story of God’s people and the establishment of His church throughout the world, forst in Jerusalem, then Judea, and finally the uttermost parts of the earth.
