The Greek Empire
Approximate Boundaries Of The Greek Empire After Alexander The Great

Special Map Notes

The Greek Empire extended further east beyond the boundaries of this map.  Alexander reached the end of his campaign at the Indus Valley in India.  He would have gone further but his soldiers refused and returned home.  Additionally he controlled portions of Parthia and Persia which were in the area beyond the right edge of this map.  The area shown is sufficient to give the reader a general idea of the extent of the Greek Empire.
